The Border Amateur Football League presently consists of 35 teams playing in the South East of Scotland, an area spanning four counties (Scottish Borders, Dumfries & Galloway, East Lothian and Northumberland) stretching from Canonbie and Langholm in the west to Eyemouth and Berwick in the east and as far north as Peebles, Lauder and Pencaitland. With the larger towns of Hawick and Galashiels well represented, plus all the other various towns and villages in the region. Click on the 'GROUNDS' tab above for an aerial photo of each club's park.
Teams are divided into three divisions of 12 (Div A), 11 (Div B) and 12 (Div C). Each division takes part in two cup competitions - Div A (Border and Beveridge Cups), Div B (Wright and Walls Cups) and Div C (Collie and Sanderson Cups). In addition there is an 'all in' competition for the Waddell Cup.
Border teams also participate in the Scottish and South Amateur Cups which are affilliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association.
